Hey there!
February has come and gone, and I don’t even know how — given that January seemed to last F-O-R-E-V-E-R. But alas, here were are in the final month of Q1.
If you’ve been following along here or on Instagram, you may have heard I bought a house in January and got all moved in in February. It wasn’t the most straight forward move, as the house I’d been renting had a mold problem, so I decided to part with most of the textiles and furniture that couldn’t be cleaned.
And with that, I cleaned each piece of furniture I did decide to keep, top to bottom before I let it enter my new home. I felt like a crazy person… and… I’m still exhausted from it all. But the new house is starting to feel like home, aside from not having a couch yet because… #decisions.
Now that the personal update is out of the way… keep reading for the good stuff!
📆 Upcoming Deadlines
- March 17 - Form 1065 (Partnerships) & 1120S (S-Corps) or (extensions) due
- March 31 - 1099 MISC Due
- April 15 - Individual for 1040 & 1120 (C-Corp) tax returns (or extensions) due
BOIR Update:
On February 27, 2025, FinCEN announced that it will not issue any fines or penalties or take any other enforcement actions against any companies based on any failure to file or update beneficial ownership information (BOI) reports until a new interim BOI reporting final rule becomes effective, and the new relevant due dates in the interim final rule have passed.
FinCEN stated that it intends to issue an interim final rule no later than March 21, 2025, which will extend the BOI reporting deadlines.
