Serena Shoup, CPA | Founder | CEO
Serena started the company as a solo-preneur helping small businesses with their bookkeeping and accounting in 2017, after leaving her corporate controller position to stay home with her kids.
She quickly discovered how much she enjoyed empowering business owners to understand their numbers and make better decisions with the information and systems she helped them set up.
Today, of course bookkeeping focuses on helping online entrepreneurs (specifically course creators and service providers), and there's a whole team of us doing it.
Serena enjoys hiking & standup paddle boarding the lakes the mountains near her home in Arizona, with her 3 kids, partner, and chocolate lab.
Brett Seymore, MBA | Staff Accountant
Brett was born and raised in the Bluegrass State, and currently resides in Louisville, Kentucky.
He has a strong background in Corporate Finance, but also has spent time working in other areas such as Business Development and Operations. In addition, Brett is a current CPA candidate, which will strengthen his ability to serve our clients through accurate bookkeeping and business strategy.
When he is not diving into client numbers, Brett enjoys traveling and exploring new places, collecting records, hiking, and supporting local businesses (mostly craft breweries) and sports teams (go, Lou City!). He also cherishes his time with family, friends, and his significant other, and loves being the fun uncle (“Funcle”) to his nieces and nephews.
Tia Taylor | Bookkeeper & Graphic Designer
Tia is a multi-talented mom of two, hailing from Idaho.
She enjoys puzzles (like any good bookkeeper) and is quite crafty!
She's our resident graphic & web designer AND bookkeeper, making sure all the pieces fit together beautifully.

Hannah Martin | Bookkeeper
Hannah is a go-getter who loves to support others. When she isn’t snuggling her Pitbull, she’s most likely playing board games or enjoying the beach with her favorite people.
With a background in Education, Hannah feels passionate about providing others with the tools they need to feel successful both personally and professionally.
Her knack for organization and natural problem-solving skills prove to be a great combo for keeping the books straight!
